Shipping policy

At checkout, we will provide you with an estimated delivery date for your order, which will also be noted on your Order Confirmation email. This estimated delivery date includes processing as well as extra time to account for weekends and/or national holidays. Express orders placed after 11 AM CST typically ship the next business day.

Once shipped, you will receive a Shipment Confirmation email with a tracking number. Orders may be split across multiple shipments, and items ordered together may not be shipped on the same day.

We ship to all US territories and APO/FPO/DPO addresses. Orders shipped to PO Boxes are sent via First-Class Mail, USPS Priority Mail, and UPS SurePost. Unfortunately, we cannot offer express and/or overnight shipping for these locations.

Please note that all product-related issues, such as missing or damaged items/packages, must be reported within 14 days of the shipping date.

International Shipping

We are proud to ship to select countries outside the United States, including Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, and the United Kingdom. We are continually expanding our international reach  - if your country is not listed at checkout, please contact us at info@lorienthaus.com to inquire about availability.

International Shipping Rates & Delivery Times

International shipping rates and estimated delivery times are calculated at checkout based on your destination country, order weight, and selected shipping method. Delivery times for international orders typically range from 7–21 business days depending on the destination, customs processing, and local carrier schedules. Please note that these are estimates and actual delivery times may vary due to factors beyond our control, including customs clearance delays.

Duties, Taxes & Import Fees

All international orders may be subject to import duties, taxes (including VAT/GST), and customs processing fees imposed by the destination country's government. These charges are determined by your country's customs authority based on the type of goods, their declared value, and local regulations.

• These estimates are provided for transparency and convenience. The final amount assessed may vary slightly based on your country's customs determination at the time of import.
• Payment of all import duties, taxes, and any additional customs or brokerage fees is the sole responsibility of the customer (the importer of record).**
  - L'Orient Haus has no control over these charges and cannot predict or modify them. We are unable to offer refunds on duties, taxes, or brokerage fees.
• If your package is held by customs, you may be required to provide additional documentation or pay assessed charges before the package is released for delivery. Please contact your local customs office for guidance.

We strongly recommend that international customers familiarize themselves with their country's import regulations and duty thresholds before placing an order.

Customs Delays & Undeliverable Packages

L'Orient Haus is not responsible for delays caused by customs processing. In rare cases where a package is refused or returned to us due to unpaid duties, refusal of delivery, or an incorrect shipping address, the customer will be responsible for the original shipping charges, and any refund issued will be reduced by actual shipping and handling costs incurred.
