Hand-Carved Jade Pendants
This collection is devoted to hand-carved jade pendants and necklaces, each shaped from a single natural stone. Carving jade is slow, patient work: the stone is too hard to cut and must be ground and polished by hand over many hours.
Hetian Jade and Nanhong Agate
You will find pendants in Hetian jade, from icy white and green to smoky purple, alongside warm Nanhong agate, a red agate long prized in Chinese carving. Landscape, floral, and figural designs are rendered in delicate miniature relief.
Feng Shui Symbolism
Motifs are chosen for meaning: the lotus for purity, the magpie for joy, and fortune and Ruyi symbols for blessing and protection. A carved jade pendant is a quiet talisman worn close to the wearer.
