A regal tribute to the Nguyễn Dynasty’s ceremonial wear, the Thy Giao Áo Dài reimagines the traditional ngũ thân form in the softest mulberry silk. The silhouette is elegantly modest, with a stately upright collar and wide structure - reflecting the grace and decorum of ancient courtly rites.
This exquisite garment features two distinct detachable layers, both meticulously handwoven:
- Outer robe: Glimmering silk brocade woven with imperial chrysanthemum motifs—a symbol of purity, renewal, and noble resilience in Vietnamese culture.
- Inner layer: Complementing the outer garment is a lush gradient silk layer adorned with peacock feathers and the "Thọ" (longevity) symbol, invoking blessings of endurance, grace, and happiness.
