Inspired by the Nguyen-era five-paneled áo dài, "Nghi Giao" embodies elegance with a tailored fit, long seamless sleeves, and a refined square Mandarin collar.
The garment is crafted with two layers of premium silk that can be worn separately:
- The outer: layer woven with chrysanthemum motifs, symbolizing purity and nobility
- The inner layer: embroidered with peacock feathers and the character “Thọ”, representing blessings, longevity, and fulfillment.
The silk’s soft, airy texture naturally catches the light, creating a subtle, luminous sheen across the intricate patterns. Four hand-sewn gold-plated “Hỷ” buttons add a final touch, carrying wishes of enduring happiness and harmony.
